90min: From OptaJoe:
7 - The last team to concede 7+ goals in the European Cup semi-finals were CSKA Sofia in 1982; their opponents were Bayern. Repeat.

87min: Final switch from Barca and Messi remains in his jacket barely being able to look on as Marc Bartra is replaced by Martin Montoya.

84min: From InfostradaLive:
The biggest aggregate loss for Barcelona in European competitions were before today by a 4-goal margin. They lost 4-0 against AC Milan in the 1994 CL Final. They lost by a 4-goal margin on aggregate in the 1962 UEFA Cup against Valencia and they also lost by a 4-goal margin on aggregate in the 1960 Champions Cup against Real Madrid.

81min: I haven't double checked this following statement, but if Bayern score one more goal, they would equal the record semi-final aggregate win. I believe it's currently held by Eintracht Frankfurt who defeated Rangers 12-4 in 1960.

78min: Pique picks up a booking for a foul on Muller as Barcelona now attempt to salvage some pride out of this semi-final.

77min: Final sub from Bayern as Rafinha replaces Lahm in Bayern's last change.76min: GOAL! Barcelona 0-3 BAYERN MUNICH
Barca fans are pouring out the ground now as Thomas Muller rises highest to head Ribery's back post cross past Valdes from close range. This is quite an unbelievable annihilation of one of the finest sides in Europe.

74min: Anatoliy Tymoshchuk replaces Javi Martinez for Bayern Munich.
72min: GOAL! Barcelona 0-2 BAYERN MUNICH
It's getting embarrassing for the hosts now. A through pass finds Franck Ribery on the left, whose byline cross is sliced by Gerard Pique into his own goal.

71min: Good work from Pedro but after he turns on to his right foot on the edge of the box, he fires low and straight at Neuer.
Riding the challenge: Bayern's Arjen Robben is tackled by Barcelona's Cesc Fabregas

69min: Barcelona have at least stopped Bayern attacking as they begin to pass the ball around the midfield. That Munich defence is looking as strong and as comfortable as ever though.

66min: Time to save players for Bayern as Schweinsteiger, who would miss the final with a booking tonight, is replaced by Luiz Gustavo, who would also miss out on Wembley with a yellow card.
Tackled: Barcelona's Alex Song is challenged by Bayern Munich's Thomas Muller
Tackled: Barcelona's Alex Song is challenged by Bayern Munich's Thomas Muller
64min: Boy does this look a depleted Barca side now. There is no Iniesta, Xavi or Messi on the pitch as the former is taken off for Thiago Alcantara.

61min: Never mind Barca scoring six goals, Bayern sense a wounded animal here as they look the more likely side to score. The life really has gone out of the home side.

58min: From InfostradaLive:
Bayern can keep a clean sheet in four consecutive CL KO matches, which would be a club record. The last club to keep at least four clean sheets in consecutive CL KO matches was Manchester United in 2008 (5).
Down and out: Cesc Fabregas looks on after being fouled

55min: Nearly a second goal for Robben as he drags a volley wide across goal. Barcelona replace Xavi with Alexis Sanchez.

54min: From InfostradaLive:
Barcelona have not lost their last 21 CL home matches (club record). Their last home loss in the competition was against Rubin Kazan (2-1) in October 2009.

51min: David Villa sees a shot blocked on the edge of the box, as the camera cuts to a crestfallen Messi on the bench. Not even he could turn this around now. When was the last time a side scored six second-half goals, let alone one against potential European champions.

48min: GOAL! Barcelona 0-1 BAYERN MUNICH
Game over. It's trademark Arjen Robben as David Alaba plays a long pass for the Dutchman on the right wing, before the winger cuts inside and unleashes a fine drive across goal and into the top corner. Barcelona now need six goals to progress.

Second-half: Away we go again - no changes which obviously means still no Messi.

20.45: From InfostradaLive:
Only once before have Barcelona failed to score in both matches of a CL knock out tie. In the semifinals of the 2007/2008 season the drew 0-0 at home against Manchester United and lost 1-0 away in Manchester.

20.40: From InfostradaLive:
Barcelona have scored four goals after half time in two CL home matches: against Spartak Moscow (5-1 after 1-1 at half time) in March 1994 and against Bayer Leverkusen (7-1 after 2-0 at half time) in March 2012.

20.35: Huge problems for Barca then. They struggled to get anywhere near scoring one goal in the first 45 minutes and now have just another three quarters of an hour to net four. If only they had the best player in the world on the bench...

Half-time: Barcelona 0-0 Bayern Munich
45+1min: The half ends with a yellow card as Alves is booked for tripping Schweinsteiger.

44min: This half is ending very quietly with Barcelona still no closer to breaking down the Bayern back four. Messi's absence is clearly felt but I'm not even sure he would have made a huge amount of difference to proceedings.

41min: Another shot from distance for Barca but Adriano's low effort is easily claimed by Neuer. Barca on top now but they still seem to lack a spark up top.

38min: From InfostradaLive:
The biggest margin Barca have overcome to qualify for the next round in Europe is by three goals (3 times). The last time was in the semifinals of the Champions Cup in 1985/86, when they lost 3-0 at IFK Gothenburg and won 3-0 at Camp Nou (won penalty shoot-out 3-0).
Cautioned: Arjen Robben is booked following a late challenge on Alex Song

35min: It's turned a little cagey in the last few minutes. Both sides have had shots from the edge of the box but attempts from Iniesta and Robben were blocked.

32min: You can add Robben to the list of Bayern players treading on suspension egg shells now, as the midfielder is booked for a late tackle on Alex Song.

30min: One third into this game and Bayern look in very good shape. The back four have stayed organised to deny the hosts any way through, with the fans high up in the ground now singing 'finale'.

27min: Big chance gone for Barca! Alves's far post cross is played back across goal for Xavi, but the midfielder volleys the rising ball over the bar. Had it been on target, Neuer would have had very little chance to save it.

24min: Plan B from Barca? Tika-taka takes a back seat for a moment as Pedro Rodriguez forces Manuel Neuer to palm behind his 25-yard drive for a corner, which Bayern clear.

21min: First class tackling from Pique. Schweinsteiger's back heel inside the box sets up Philipp Lahm to shoot, but the centre-back arches his body and his leg to expertly slide and play the ball without clumsily clattering into the full-back. Textbook slide challenge.

18min: The hosts are seeing more of the ball but it's Bayern who remain the more dangerous side in the final third. We are still lacking chances but it's the Barca defence which has been most stretched.

15min: Some encouraging signs for Barca as Alves picks up the ball inside the Bayern box, but his low ball across goal fails to find a team-mate.

12min: First chance Bayern. Arjen Robben is onside as he races from the halfway line to latch on to a lofted through ball, but Gerard Pique does very well to chase back and force the winger to fire low and straight at Valdes.
Chasing a deficit: Barcelona's Dani Alves (right) attempts to tackle Bayern Munich's Franck Ribery

11min: So far so good for Bayern who are doing a fine containing job on the hosts. David Villa looks lively for Barca, but the Munich full-backs are always keen to start a counter attack, limiting how much the hosts are throwing forward.

8min: Cesc Fabregas attempts to play through David Villa inside the box, but the Spanish striker runs into two Bayern defenders as tries to cut inside and the visitors easily mop up the danger.

5min: Some nerves at the back for Barca. Mario Mandzukic is dispossessed on the edge of the box, but Dani Alves appears to play a short pass to Victor Valdes that the keeper picks up. It has all the hallmarks of an illegal passback but play goes on. The Bayern players didn't protest too much.
Benched: Lionel Messi takes his place in the Barcelona dugout
Benched: Lionel Messi takes his place in the Barcelona dugout
3min: A sparring start. Barcelona haven't begun with the gusto Madrid did yesterday as neither side takes control at this stage.

Kick-off: Bayern get us going at the Nou Camp.
